Now that I have been in school for a week, my schedule got changed. This is a good thing because I’m not in class with anyone who hurts my feelings. In my opinion, Law class is really boring…all you learn is law! I was expecting to learn about things that are against the law, or how to follow laws. Instead, we are learning about the definition of law, and other boring stuff. I hope that I get to learn about more exciting things soon. I am taking this Wheel elective. So, I might get business or home economics next semester. I think that would be better than law!
My friend showed me a picture of a shirt that you could buy online. It said, “I’m too pretty to do homework, so my brother does it for me.” I would never wear this kind of shirt because it offends people and nobody likes it. It sends the message that girls girls can’t do homework, or that they are not smart enough. That’s not true at all! I like shirts that are cute and funny but this one is offensive. I was happy to learn that they don’t sell it anymore.
Today I am designing some workout wear for my Maluicious clothing line. Athletes would like to wear my outfits because they might be tired of the same old workout clothes. The shirt I designed combines a sports bra and undershirt together. The combinations work together and are creative. It is also good for covering the belly. It’s not always good to expose the torso. The back of the tank top has cross straps and says, “Pump It” on the back. My pants are skin-tight or fitted and have a Maluicious waistband. Underneath the waistband, I put pink, purple, and black stripes to add some color. The leg of the pants is fitted so that no one trips when they are working out. I chose to put “Work it Up” on the pants because “work” is in the word “work out”. The pants match the “pump it up” shirt, so I wanted to make it “Work it up”. I’ve done weights before, but they were a little heavy. It was worth it, though.
I am really excited about my new cheer shoes. I almost got a uniform, but unfortunately, I missed practice last week. I am SO excited to get the uniform because I can’t wait to find out what they look like. I am hoping to get a red, white, and blue uniform. We need uniforms for cheer competitions. I’m looking forward to the cheer competitions because some are away from the town that I live in, and it will be fun to travel. I also love to perform in front of people. They tape the competitions and make videos, which is really exciting. I’ve performed several times before, in plays and in dance club, so I can’t wait. I might also join the color guard. That starts in a few weeks. I worry that I might not have time for both cheering and color guard, but I hope I will.
